Exclusive Pre-Release Screening of a NEW CIRCLE DVD!!

Formed in 1991, Circle is the most visible name in the Finnish avant-rock underground. Having survived innumerable lineup changes, the band and its founder, bassist/vocalist/guitarist Jussi Lehtisalo, have constantly reinvented themselves, weaving hypnotic mantras out of exacting Krautrock beats, heavy riffs, arty noise, dark psychedlia, and soundtrack-like beauty. Hard, chilly repetition has served as the lone unifying theme throughout 16 years of experiments. Circle's live shows have been internationally praised for their advanced musicianship and eye-popping visuals. Each gig is an exercise in sensory overload that masterfully explores the outer limits of grinding tension and celestial calm.

ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 9TH 2009, join us for a special, exclusive west-coast pre-release party and screening of a new DVD featuring live performances by CIRCLE! Presented by Aquarius Records, No Quarter, Klaus To The Edge on WestAddRadio 93.7FM SF and PROJEKTOR Party. The screening will start at 11pm and Allan, AC and Black Fjord will DJ kraut, prog and heavy psych before and after. THIS EVENT IS FREE!!
